Postdoctoral Positions

PhD
If you are interested in doing a PhD in our ACI lab, you should apply to the University of Glasgow’s PhD scholarship program. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is in January every year. There are several different scholarships available, that can involve teaching, international students and different levels of funding. The scholarships require a research proposal (more info here). Please get in touch if you wish to apply, so that I can help support the application to give you the best chance of success.
Masters and Undergraduate Students
Dr. Hirskyj-Douglas supervise several topics each year in focusing around ACI at University of Glasgow. If you wish to do your thesis on this topic, please get in touch with her, and bid through the university system. Her undergraduate students at University of Glasgow, have all received A grades including a best thesis award. Many students have worked with Blair Drummond Safari Park and Korkeasaari Zoo developing technology for the animals there.
Internships
Our lab hires interns most summers typically in June-August but also throughout the term time in a part-time basis. If you are looking for summer internships or work experience, please email me directly with your CV, hours of availability and interests.
